Gaspar is one of the 3 Wise Kings who traveled from the East to pay homage to Baby Jesus. This one of a kind artist doll represents the beauty and cultural values of Japan.
Head, hands and feet are sculpted from Premo polymer clay.
He has dark brown glass eyes.
His head and facial hair are fine black mohair.
His cloth body has a strong armature consisting of 2 rods inserted from shoulders to the wooden base for durability and strength.
His fingers are wired.
His gift is a paper mache box from India.
Clothing was created specifically for the doll.
His hakama pants and inner kimono are cotton with a silk trim.
The sparkly outer garment is lined.
His white socks and black sandals are created from polymer clay.
His head covering matches his robe and includes a pendant.
The wooden base is painted and decorated with a paper pattern.
The bottom is felted to protect furniture.
